Catillaria atomarioides é um líquen crostoso pertencente à família Catillariaceae. Forma crostas finas e granulosas em superfícies rochosas, especialmente em rochas calcárias e siliciosas. Os apotécios são pequenos e de coloração escura. Ocorre em regiões temperadas e subtropicais do hemisfério norte. Como todos os líquens, representa uma associação simbiótica entre fungos e algas ou cianobactérias, sendo indicador de qualidade ambiental.
