Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.

Entre as baleias grandes mais acrobáticas, as baleias-jubarte são famosas por seus cantos complexos e evocativos entoados pelos machos durante a temporada reprodutiva, podendo durar horas e evoluir ao longo do tempo.
