Found across multiple habitat types including tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests, tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests, and tropical and subtropical grasslands and savannas, among 11 distinct biome types. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.

Baleia jubarte
Entre as baleias grandes mais acrobáticas, as baleias-jubarte são famosas por seus cantos complexos e evocativos entoados pelos machos durante a temporada reprodutiva, podendo durar horas e evoluir ao longo do tempo. Atingindo 16 metros e 30 toneladas, realizam as migrações mais longas de qualquer mamífero. Encontradas em todos os oceanos, alimentam-se de krill e peixes pequenos usando a técnica cooperativa de rede de bolhas.
Hebeloma fragilipes é um pequeno cogumelo com estipe fino, chapéu castanho-pálido a ocre e um pé distintivamente frágil, daí seu nome específico. Cresce em pastagens, charnecas e bordas de floresta na Europa, formando associações micorrízicas com diversas árvores e arbustos. Como muitas espécies de Hebeloma, produz um fraco odor de rabanete e é considerado moderadamente tóxico.
