Botryotinia calthae é um fungo ascomiceto da família Sclerotiniaceae, o estágio sexual de um patógeno semelhante a Botrytis que infecta a botão-de-ouro (Caltha palustris) em habitats úmidos. Forma esclerócios no tecido vegetal infectado que persistem no solo para iniciar infecções futuras. Como patógeno necrotrófico, mata o tecido hospedeiro e depois se alimenta do material morto resultante.
