Stenotrophomonas chelatiphaga는 EDTA와 같은 금속 킬레이트 화합물을 분해하는 능력이 두드러진 그람 음성 막대균이다. 활성 슬러지 및 오염된 토양 환경에서 분리되었다. 이 대사 특화 세균은 폐수 처리 시스템에서 합성 킬레이트제의 분해에 참여한다.

Stenotrophomonas koreensis는 잔토모나다세아에과에 속하는 그람 음성 호기성 세균으로, 대한민국의 농업 토양에서 최초로 분리되었다. 다른 Stenotrophomonas 종들과 마찬가지로 대사 능력이 다양하며 다양한 토양 환경에서 발견된다. 보전 상태는 평가되지 않았다.
