Physarum leucopus는 Physaridae과의 변형균류(원형질 점균류)로, 종명에서 알 수 있듯이 창백하거나 흰 자루가 있는 포자낭을 형성한다. 습한 산림 환경의 부후목과 식물 낙엽에서 발견된다. 보전 상태는 평가되지 않았다.

Physarum viride는 산림 서식지의 고사목, 잎, 낙엽을 포함한 부후 유기물에 작고 밝은 황녹색 포자낭을 형성하는 선명한 색의 변형균류이다. 모든 Physarum 종처럼 먹이 입자를 흡수하기 위해 기질 위를 기어다니는 다핵 원형질 상태로 생활의 일부를 보낸다. 온대 및 열대 지역의 습한 삼림에서 발견된다.
