비늘목덜미아마존앵무(Amazona mercenaria)는 독특한 어두운 비늘 모양 목덜미 깃털과 날개의 붉은 반점을 가진 대형의 주로 녹색인 아마존 앵무새로, 콜롬비아, 베네수엘라, 에콰도르, 페루의 북부와 중부 안데스 해발 600~3,000m 습윤 산악림에 서식한다. 씨앗, 과일, 꽃을 먹으며 운무림에서 쌍 또는 작은 무리를 이루어 생활한다. 관심필요종으로 등재되어 있다.
