Galerina heimansii는 흡수성 갓과 갈색 주름을 가진 치명적인 Galerina 속의 소형 갈색 버섯이다. 이탄 습지, 습윤 산림 바닥, 이끼 덮인 통나무 등 온대 유럽 환경의 이끼가 풍부한 서식지에 자란다. Sphagnum 및 관련 태류와 밀접하게 연관된 이끼 관련 유기물을 분해하는 부생 균류이다.
