붉은가슴잉꼬(Psittacula alexandri)는 장밋빛 붉은 가슴과 뺨 패치가 녹색 및 회색 깃털과 대비되는 중형 잉꼬로, 네팔과 인도에서 베트남과 인도네시아에 이르는 남아시아 및 동남아시아 전역에 분포한다. 숲, 맹그로브, 경작지에 서식하며 열매가 달린 나무와 곡물 밭에 대규모 무리를 이루어 모여든다. Psittacula 잉꼬 중 가장 단편화된 분포권을 가지며, 아시아와 유럽에서 널리 사육된다.
