Habitat

Inhabits tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests within the Neotropic biogeographic realm. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.

멕시코에서 중앙아메리카를 거쳐 볼리비아와 브라질까지 이어지는 습한 산림, 산림 가장자리, 이차림에 서식하는 크고 아름다운 솔타토르인 버프목솔타토르는 뚜렷한 흰색 눈썹선, 검은색 광대선, 따뜻한 버프색 목과 대조를 이루는 초록색 윗면이 특징입니다. 산림 경계와 정원에서 흔히 관찰되며 풍부한 선율의 지저귐 소리를 냅니다. 씨앗, 과일, 새싹을 먹이로 하며 간혹 혼합종 무리에 합류합니다. 광범위한 신열대구 분포 범위에서 가장 자주 관찰되는 솔타토르 중 하나입니다.
