Listeria monocytogenes는 그람 양성 운동성 세균으로 리스테리아증의 원인균이며, 임산부, 신생아, 노인, 면역 저하자에게 특히 위험한 심각한 식인성 질환을 일으킵니다. 토양, 물, 광범위한 식품에서 발견되는 통성 세포내 기생체로 냉장 온도에서도 생장할 수 있습니다. 오염된 즉석 섭취 식품인 델리 육류, 연성 치즈, 생야채 등과 관련된 집단 발병이 자주 발생합니다.
