アカオデアマゾン(Amazona autumnalis)はメキシコ東部・中央アメリカからエクアドル北西部・ベネズエラにかけての低地熱帯雨林に生息する中型のアマゾンインコだ。特徴的な赤い額のパッチ、黄色い頬、王冠部に青みのある主に緑色の羽毛を持つ。生涯の絆を維持するペアで生活し、共同ねぐらでより大きな群れと合流する。世界の鳥類飼育で最も一般的なアマゾン種の一つで、言語能力、知性、愛情深い気質で評価されている。
