Trapeliopsis glaucolepideaは土壌と岩石基質に灰青色の顆粒状葉状体のパッチを形成する固着地衣類である。温帯および亜寒帯ヨーロッパ環境の露出した鉱物土壌・砂礫荒原・撹乱地に生息する。酸性裸地に定着し、初期遷移的な土壌安定化に寄与する。
