アオハシインコ
カカリキ(Cyanoramphus novaezelandiae)は鮮やかな赤い頭頂部と頬のパッチを持つ小型の明るい緑色のインコで、ニュージーランド固有種であり海面から高山帯までの森林に生息する。適応性が高く、種子、花、果実、昆虫を採食する。導入された捕食者(ネズミ、テン、ネコ)によって本土では絶滅危惧となっているが、哺乳類のいない沖合の島々では健全な個体群を維持している。保全移送と捕食者管理プログラムが本土の回復を支援している。
