オレンジウィングアマゾン(Amazona amazonica)は南アメリカの熱帯林および二次林に生息する中型のインコで、主に緑色の羽毛を持ち、飛翔時に鮮明なオレンジ色の翼斑と頭部の青・黄色の模様が目立ちます。コロンビアとトリニダードからベネズエラ、ギアナ、ブラジル南部、ボリビアにかけて分布し、最も一般的で広域に分布するアマゾンインコの一つで、大きく騒がしい群れをなして集団ねぐらを形成します。ラテンアメリカ全域および国際的にペットとして広く飼育されています。
