Coltricia confluentesは、ベルベット状の傘表面に同心円状の環があり細い中央の柄を持ち、時に隣接する傘と融合する有柄の褐色多孔菌です。温帯および亜寒帯の開放針葉樹林・混交林の砂質土壌に生育します。この菌根菌は特にマツとコナラの根と栄養交換のパートナーシップを形成します。
