Banded Demoiselle
Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats.
Distributed across Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Norway, and Sweden.
Cheetah

Banded Demoiselle
バンデッドデモワゼル(Calopteryx splendens)は西ヨーロッパ〜中央アジアの緩流水域に分布する大型のカワトンボ科のトンボで、雄の翼中央の特徴的な青紫色の金属光沢の帯が美しい求愛ディスプレイに使われる。IUCNレッドリストでは軽度懸念(LC)に分類されており、清澄で緩やかな河川・小川の水生植物周辺に生息する。翅を優雅に広げてひらひらと飛ぶ蝶のような飛翔スタイルが観察者を魅了する淡水生態系の象徴的な種である。
Cheetah
地球上で最も速い陸上動物で、アフリカとイランの草原において短距離走で時速112kmに達する。深い胸部、長い脚、独特の黒い涙縞模様を持つ細身の体型が特徴だ。他の大型ネコ科動物とは異なり、チーターはチャープ音やパー音で鳴く。生息地の分断と大型捕食者との競争により、残存個体数は約7,000頭のみとなっており、危急種に分類されている。
