ベアードシギ(Calidris bairdii)は北米・グリーンランド・シベリア北東部の高山ツンドラで繁殖し、南米の高山草原まで長距離渡りを行うシギの一種である。IUCNレッドリストでは軽度懸念(LC)に分類されており、高山帯・内陸草原・砂漠の水辺など様々な環境を採食地として利用する。世界で最も長い鳥類の渡りルートの一つを往復し、年間数万キロを飛翔することで知られる。
