アジュールブルーイット(Coenagrion puella)はヨーロッパの止水・緩流水域に広く分布する小型のイトトンボ科のトンボで、雄の鮮やかな青と黒の模様が美しい。IUCNレッドリストでは軽度懸念(LC)に分類されており、池沼・運河・緩やかな小川の水草周りで交尾・産卵する。幼虫は水中で生育し、成虫は水辺の草地・葦原で昆虫を捕食する、淡水湿地生態系の重要な構成要素である。
