マイルカ(Delphinus delphis)は大西洋・地中海・インド太平洋の温帯〜熱帯海域に広く分布するイルカで、黒・白・黄色のクロスパターンが特徴的な模様を持つ。IUCNレッドリストでは軽度懸念(LC)に分類されており、世界で最も個体数の多いイルカの一種と考えられている。高速遊泳能力を持ちボウライドを楽しむ行動でよく知られ、数百頭からなる大きな群れを形成することがある。
