Altererythrobacter ishigakiensisは日本の石垣島から分離されたエリスロバクター科に属するグラム陰性の好気性細菌である。熱帯島嶼の沿岸海洋環境、またはその土壌に生息する。他のAltererythrobacter属と同様にカロテノイド色素を産生し、亜熱帯海洋生態系の炭素循環に役割を果たす可能性がある。
