Entoloma elodesは乾燥すると色が褪せる吸湿性の笠と独特の匂いを持つ小型のピンク色胞子キノコです。ヨーロッパ温帯地域の湿った牧草地、湿地草原、湿潤な林縁で生育します。生態的に敏感なこのキノコは、栄養の乏しい未改良の湿地影響を受けた草原生息地に生息します。
