About

One of Australia's most recognized parrots, galahs are strikingly pink and grey cockatoos found across almost all of Australia in open grasslands, farmland, and woodland, congregating in large, noisy flocks. Highly adaptable, they have benefited from land clearing and now often outnumber other parrots in agricultural landscapes. They form long-term pair bonds and are highly social, intelligent birds.
