Micromonospora zamorensis es una actinobacteria del suelo descrita por primera vez en la provincia de Zamora, en Espana. Habita suelos terrestres de la Peninsula Iberica y regiones mediterraneas relacionadas. Este quimioheterotrofo aerobio produce endosporas individuales y degrada sustratos organicos complejos, con posible produccion de nuevos antibioticos.

Habitat & Distribution

Native to Asia, inhabiting ecosystems characteristic of the region.

Found in Taiwan.
