Dianema depressum es un mixomiceto (moho mucilaginoso plasmodial) de la familia Dianemaceae, que produce esporangios aplanados o deprimidos sobre madera en descomposición y restos vegetales en ambientes forestales húmedos. Como otros mixomicetos, pasa por una fase plasmodial ameboide antes de formar estructuras portadoras de esporas. Su estado de conservación no ha sido evaluado.
