About

Un gran y robusto colibrí de los bosques nubosos andinos y bordes forestales desde Venezuela hasta Bolivia; los incas bronceados muestran un brillante plumaje bronce-verde con una garganta verde iridiscente y una mancha blanca distintiva en el pecho. Habitan elevaciones entre 900–2.800 metros y son defensores agresivos de parches de flores. Los incas bronceados son traplineroes, siguiendo rutas regulares a lo largo de corredores de plantas en flor en lugar de defender un único territorio. Catalogados como Preocupación Menor con poblaciones estables.
