Achroonema gotlandicum es una bacteria filamentosa incolora del orden Achroonematales, descrita originalmente en las aguas salobres del Mar Báltico cerca de Gotlandia. Forma tricomas delgados y no pigmentados en columnas de agua estratificadas con escaso oxígeno. Como organismo quimioheterotrófico, participa en el ciclo microbiano de la materia orgánica en zonas acuáticas anóxicas.
