Physarum psittacinum es un mixomiceto (moho de fango plasmodial) de la familia Physaridae, nombrado por su coloracion verde loro (psitacina). Produce esporangios sobre madera muerta y hojarasca en ambientes forestales humedos. Su estado de conservacion no ha sido evaluado.
Physarum pusillum es un pequeno mixomiceto (moho de fango) que produce minusculos esporangios de color palido sobre material vegetal en descomposicion y corteza en ambientes boscosos humedos. Su nombre refleja su tamano diminuto en relacion con otras especies de Physarum. Como sus parientes, pasa por una fase plasmodial de alimentacion antes de formar estructuras reproductoras, y se distribuye en varios continentes.
