Paradiacheopsis solitaria es un mixomiceto (moho mucilaginoso) que típicamente produce esporangios aislados e individuales en lugar de agrupados, como indica su nombre de especie. Crece sobre madera en descomposición y residuos vegetales en entornos forestales. Como todos los mixomicetos, alterna entre una fase plasmodial móvil y una fase de esporulación sésil durante su ciclo de vida.
