Ramariopsis citrina es un pequenyo hongo coral con cuerpos fructiferos ramificados de color amarillo limon a citrino que recuerdan a pequenyos cuernos. Crece en suelos forestales y entre musgos en bosques templados y boreales de Europa y America del Norte. Este hongo saprotrofico descompone hojarasca y materia organica en el suelo del bosque.
