Marasmius bulliardii es un hongo diminuto con sombrero blanquecino en forma de campana y un estipe muy largo similar a un cabello, adherido a hojas en descomposicion. Crece en masas agrupadas sobre hojas caidas muertas en bosques caducifolios templados de Europa. Este hongo saprofito descompone el mantillo de hojas, particularmente durante condiciones humedas en otono.
