Habitat & Geographic Range
Komodo Dragon
Found across multiple habitat types including tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests, tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests, and tropical and subtropical grasslands and savannas, among 4 distinct biome types spanning the Australasia and Indomalayan realms. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.
Found in Indonesia. Currently classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, this species faces significant conservation challenges across its range.
Native to Asia, inhabiting ecosystems characteristic of the region.
Found in Taiwan.

El dragón de Komodo es el lagarto viviente más grande. Se encuentra únicamente en unas pocas islas indonesias.
Rhizobium multihospitium es una alfaproteobacteria fijadora de nitrogeno de la familia Rhizobiaceae con un rango de hospedadores inusualmente amplio, capaz de nodular multiples especies de leguminosas. Su nombre hace referencia a su capacidad de establecer simbiosis con numerosas plantas hospedadoras. Ha sido aislada de nodulos radicales en China y contribuye a la fijacion biologica de nitrogeno en ecosistemas agricolas y naturales de leguminosas diversas.
