Pseudoxanthomonas daejeonensis es una varilla Gram-negativa de pigmentacion amarilla aislada por primera vez en suelos cercanos a Daejeon, Corea del Sur. Habita entornos de suelos terrestres templados y produce pigmentos relacionados con xantomonadina. Este quimioheterotrofo aerobio participa en la descomposicion de materia organica en suelos coreanos.
