La tortuga verde (Chelonia mydas) es una de las tortugas marinas más grandes. Su nombre proviene del color verde de su cartílago y grasa, no del caparazón.
Pluteus pusillulus es un hongo saprotrofo minusculo de la familia Pluteaceae, que crece sobre madera en descomposicion y restos lenosos en ambientes forestales humedos.
