La tortuga verde (Chelonia mydas) es una de las tortugas marinas más grandes. Su nombre proviene del color verde de su cartílago y grasa, no del caparazón.
Peronospora pulveracea es un oomiceto patogeno obligado que causa un mildiu velloso de aspecto polvoriento en plantas del genero Fumaria. Habita campos agricolas, margenes de jardines y habitats alterados donde crecen estas malas hierbas. Este patogeno vegetal se dispersa mediante esporangios aereos durante condiciones climaticas frescas y humedas.
