Dolichospermum viguieri es una cianobacteria filamentosa y heterocística de la familia Aphanizomenonaceae que se encuentra en ambientes de agua dulce. Forma células con vacuolas de gas que le permiten regular la flotabilidad en la columna de agua y puede contribuir a las floraciones de cianobacterias. Su estado de conservación no ha sido evaluado.
