Autillo chino

The Collared Scops Owl, known scientifically as Otus lettia, is a small owl belonging to the family Strigidae. As a member of the large and diverse scops owl genus Otus, Otus lettia is characterised by its cryptic, bark-like brown and grey plumage providing camouflage during daytime roosting, along with small ear tufts typical of scops owls. The species inhabits a variety of forested environments, including tropical and subtropical forests, forest edges, and well-wooded areas. It is reported to occur in Norway according to available range data. Scops owls are generally nocturnal hunters, feeding on insects and small vertebrates, and are frequently detected by their repetitive, monotone calls uttered at night. Detailed biological traits including typical lifespan, body length, and weight are poorly documented for this species in available literature. The Collared Scops Owl is currently assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

koala
