Clastidium setigerum es una cianobacteria filamentosa de la familia Clastidiaceae, caracterizada por producir filamentos que se estrechan anclados a sustratos por una célula de fijación basal. Crece sobre algas más gruesas, invertebrados y sustratos rocosos en ambientes dulceacuícolas o marinos.
