Emticicia oligotrophica is a gram-negative bacterium in the family Cytophagaceae, adapted to oligotrophic (nutrient-poor) aquatic environments. It can grow at very low nutrient concentrations and is found in freshwater and soil habitats. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
