Schwarzköpfchen

A small lovebird with distinctive yellow collar and mask surrounding a violet-blue face, native to the dry Acacia savanna of northeastern Tanzania. Like all lovebirds, they form intensely bonded pair relationships reinforced through constant mutual preening.
