Uromyces junci is a rust fungus that parasitizes rushes (Juncus species), causing orange-brown pustular lesions on stems and leaves of its host plants in wetland and waterside habitats. It is distributed across temperate regions of Europe and beyond, wherever suitable Juncus hosts occur in moist environments.
