Geopora tenuis é um fungo em forma de cálice hipogeu ou semi-hipogeu da família Pyronemataceae, avaliado como Quase Ameaçado (NT). Produz corpos de frutificação inconspícuos de paredes finas que se desenvolvem na superfície ou logo abaixo do solo em habitats florestais. Seu estado quase ameaçado pode refletir dependência de solos florestais maduros não perturbados.
