セキセイインコとヨウムに次いで世界で最も人気のあるペットオウムの一つであるコセキオウム（Amazona aestiva）は、鮮やかな黄色の顔と青い額、赤橙色の肩の斑点で識別されます。ブラジル、ボリビア、パラグアイ、アルゼンチンの南アメリカ中部原産で、森林、林地、ヤシ林に生息します。高い知性と強い物まね・会話能力を持ち、1700年代からペットとして飼育されています。野生の個体数は捕獲の圧力に直面しています。

ムジボウシインコ
