Photobacterium ganghwense es una bacteria halofila gramnegativa de la familia Vibrionaceae, aislada originalmente de sedimentos de marismas en la isla Ganghwa, Corea del Sur. Como otras especies de Photobacterium, esta asociada a ambientes marinos y estuarinos. Su estado de conservacion no ha sido evaluado.
Photobacterium halotolerans es una bacteria marina gramnegativa que se distingue por su tolerancia a concentraciones moderadamente altas de sal. Habita ambientes costeros salinos y de mar abierto.
