Paradiacheopsis longipes is a myxomycete distinguished by its notably long stipe (hence longipes) relative to the overall size of its sporangium, growing on dead plant material in humid forests. Its elegant, tall-stalked fruiting bodies are characteristic of the genus. Like other slime moulds, it feeds on microorganisms and organic particles during its plasmodial stage.

Paradiacheopsis solitaria is a myxomycete (slime mould) that typically produces isolated, single sporangia rather than clustered ones, as implied by its species name. It grows on decaying wood and plant debris in forested environments. Like all myxomycetes, it alternates between a motile plasmodial stage and a sessile sporulation stage during its life cycle.
